High-Sensitivity, Direct Detect and Inverse Analyses
Included with the ECS-400 system is an extremely versatile 5mm gradient probe. It is capable of observing/decoupling 1H, 19F and broadband nuclides, all under complete computer autotuning
control. This probe is especially designed for very high 1H and 13C sensitivity and can easily measure both direct-observe and inverse-detected 1D and 2D spectra. Because of its flexibility and very high sensitivity, it may be the only probe you ever need for all of your synthetic and natural products applications.
Computer Controlled, Broadband Autotuning
JEOL pioneered automatic probe tuning and matching technology over two decades ago. And with nearly 800 installed in the field, these probes have certainly proven their utility and reliability. With our autotune design, it is possible to perform a precise tune and match on any nuclide in its wide tuning range (1H/19F and 109Ag to 31P) all under complete computer control. Additionally, since the autotuning controller is independent of the probe, it can be used interchangeably with our complete lineup of 5mm and 10mm autotuning probes. For the ultimate in flexibility, this probe can even be tuned manually.
Instant Configuration / Worry-Free Operation
With our exclusive probe status connector, all requisite probe files are instantly initialized by the acquisition computer whenever you re-install your probe. You never have to worry about whether you have the right pulse widths or attenuation values set. All configuration changes occur automatically. Additionally, JEOL’s exclusive clear bore probe design minimizes downtime incurred from broken samples. Any debris in the probe can be simply rinsed away. And, because our samples spin right atop our probes and not on a magnet bore spinner stack, you can even remove empty spinner rotors by simply removing the probe.
