ECX / ECA Network Interface Design

Ultimate Network Connectivity

When a workstation connection is made to a spectrometer, all requisite spectrometer information is automatically inherited, greatly simplifying computer administration for a multi-user network environment. With this design, it is possible to seamlessly control multiple spectrometers from a single workstation or control one spectrometer from multiple workstations. This is a core feature of the JEOL software. You can even control spectrometers from a heterogeneous workstation environment. Our powerful Delta™ software processing and control package runs on a variety of workstation types including Windows, LINUX and Mac OS X. It’s your choice.

Collaborative Operation

The ECX/ECA console series offers unparalleled network connectivity. In the past, NMR consoles have been passive devices that require a dedicated workstation for normal operation. The JEOL design is free from this limitation, allowing workstations and spectrometers to act collaboratively on a network. All necessary files for spectrometer operation reside on the acquisition computer inside the console chassis, allowing it to operate without a dedicated workstation.
