To further reduce its overall floor space requirement, the ECS-400 system comes standard with an actively shielded magnet. Made to our specifications by Jastec, its advanced shielding technology drastically reduces the stray magnetic field. Thus, you can site this magnet in a much smaller laboratory space than was previously possible. Moreover, the active shielding means the sample area is much less susceptible to external magnetic perturbations. You can even site multiple NMR systems in the same laboratory space. This magnet is optionally available in the new “Super-Self-Shielded” (SSS) configuration.

Anti-vibration Dampening

You have more choice than ever before as to where you can site your high-resolution NMR system. As an additional feature to relieve magnet siting constraints, we offer both active and passive antivibration solutions. You are no longer obligated to site a system in a basement or on a ground floor. Instead, you can install the magnet where it is most accessible to your chemists.

Low Cryogen Consumption Cryostat

The cryostats in our magnets have been refined yet again to reduce cryogen consumption. These design improvements make our magnets among the most economical superconducting systems ever produced. Additionally, the cryogen refill intervals have been thoughtfully redesigned to ensure a convenient filling schedule.
