Nowadays, laboratory space is at a premium. So we consolidated our digital console architecture and created a 2-channel console with a small footprint. The result? A small console that does not sacrifice performance or skimp on the features you need most. In fact, the standard ECS package provides a complete hardware feature set for a synthetic or natural products NMR workflow. Broadband observation and decoupling, digitally controlled pulsed field gradient amplifier, software-based pulse shapes and decoupling modes, super stable spin controller and a fast-settling variable temperature controller are all standard features.

Digital Multi-Sequencer Design

At the heart of the ECS console is our exclusive digital multi-sequencer design. A sequencer is a multiprocessor, high-performance, computational unit that handles real-time experiment control tasks. When coupled with a DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) daughter card, it is a complete digital RF source capable of complex waveform generation and precise frequency, phase and amplitude control.

This future proof RF architecture can effortlessly generate state of the art off-resonance pulses, as well as any type of shaped pulse or decoupling scheme. In short, the ECS can easily perform all of the experiments necessary for your structure elucidation needs with plenty of capability to spare. Better still, because this awesome capability is under complete software control, the full power of the ECS digital RF is literally at your fingertips.

Intelligent, Autonomous Acquisition Computer

To seamlessly integrate all of the hardware capabilities in the ECS console, we provide an intelligent and autonomous acquisition computer. Complete with its own fast Ethernet network card and large capacity hard drive, our acquisition computer can independently control the NMR console and handle data acquisition, without a dedicated NMR workstation. A design hallmark for nearly 15 years, our exclusive acquisition computer design not only ensures the highest level of uninterrupted data acquisition, but also makes our consoles the only systems that are truly cyber enabled.
