Changing probes has never been as easy--or as worry-free--as with JEOL's probe status connector. Immediately after plugging in the probe status connector, the acquisition computer will automatically load all requisite information including: correct pulse widths, power levels, VT ranges, tuning information, default shim file and gradient shim files. This means you will be up and running instantly and will never make a mistake when changing probes.
