In this application note, we present a case study demonstrating the successful preparation of a low-damage, smooth cross section of a perovskite solar cell using the JEOL Cooling Cross-section Polisher (Cooling CP), which is well known for low-damage processing of soft materials. This work highlights the effectiveness of combining SEM analysis with the Cooling CP technique for high-quality cross-sectional structural characterization.
