Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
Install new or modified electron microscopes at customer's facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
Independently diagnose and repair electron microscopes within the territory
Review reports and documentation from customers and inspect malfunctioning instrument to determine nature and scope of problem.
Communicate with clients, vendors, supervisors and any other persons or organizations with whom interaction is required to accomplish work
Resolve problems with affected instrument or prepare a report of findings and recommendations. Refer complex problems and concerns to appropriate individuals
Consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment in resolving problems
Provide on-site technical assistance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
Complete and submit field service reports and weekly expense reports
Requirements:
An Associate’s degree in an appropriate area of engineering and/or science from an accredited college or university; plus 6+ months electronics or related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Willingness to travel by car to customer sites to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electron microscopes
Excellent customer service skills
Hands-on technical experience with installation and repair of equipment
Knowledge of and ability to apply analog, digital, and RF electronics
A basic understanding of troubleshooting techniques and approaches
Ability to analyze, evaluate, and assess complex mechanical components.

Shipping Clerk

Pick items from inventory and ensure accuracy by verifying product codes, quantities, and descriptions
Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping
Utilize the company’s ERP system to enter and retrieve shipping information
Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and shipping manifests and maintain records of shipped items
Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries

Qualifications

Senior Applications Specialist - TEM

Provide applications support to the Sales and Marketing Team through demonstrations of TEM Products to existing and potential customers in the Applications Lab, at customer sites and scientific conferences.
Essential Duties
Participate and co-develop TEM training courses as needed (in house and at customer sites)
Develop expertise and applications in special projects such as EDS, EELS, 4D STEM, Tomography, etc. as needed
Run customer samples and demonstrate assigned TEM product line to customers
Gather information about samples and customer to aid in successful product demonstration
Provide clear reports from sample data acquired at demos or from customer samples to promote our TEM products
Develop effective techniques for evaluating a wide variety of challenging materials sample types

You will draft effective marketing communications to highlight the features and benefits of new and existing products to customers. Experience managing small projects from end to end within an established framework including interacting with stakeholders, setting project timelines, delivering project to completion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with Salesforce/Pardot desired.
Graphic design experience (i.e. Photoshop Systems, Illustrator, Corel Draw, In-Design, Quark) is preferred

Import Export Coordinator

You will analyze and process import/export orders and ensure on-schedule delivery and compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company procedures. Additional responsibilities include compiling and maintaining documentation required to ensure that shipments occur efficiently and legally.
Essential Responsibilities
Process end-to-end import/export operations including documentation and shipments
Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of import and export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations
Receive, reconcile, and gather import documentation and prepare submission for both air and ocean shipments working closely with the company’s brokerage partners in all ports of entry
Track and trace international shipments from point of departure up to delivery and expedite movement of goods with carriers; update inventory location and bin in ERP
Coordinate the import/export of shipments in a cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with all U.S. and International trade and compliance regulations as well as company procedures
Execute and comply with C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) procedural requirements
Prepare international documents for shipments based on trade regulations, and payment terms including but not limited to letters of credit, filing tariffs, bill of ladings, license agreements, and miscellaneous correspondence
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 6 to 12 months related experience, or equivalent combination
Knowledge of standard regulations related to domestic and international protocols is preferred; C-TPAT knowledge a plus
Knowledge of export and import management software and tools is desired

Scanning electron microscopy knowledge and experience is required
Experience with sample preparation and FIB products a plus
