The ECX series of NMR spectrometers is designed for any laboratory needing an easy-to-use, reliable, routine NMR system. The ECX NMR series is available from 300 to 500 MHz. The console is designed around a modular, digital NMR electronics chassis controlled by an intelligent acquisition computer. For unprecedented flexibility, the JEOL NMR system offers a Windows XP™, Mac OSX™ or LINUX. Both the workstation and spectrometer may be connected to a standard network, allowing seamless remote operation anywhere in the world.

The ECX basic configuration is a fully broadbanded two-channel system with one high frequency and one low frequency amplifier. The ECX can be expanded with up to four broadband RF transmitters and three RF amplifiers. Every transmitter has full digital RF control using an integrated waveform generator with phase, frequency and amplitude control. Pulse shaping is generated under software control, giving you unlimited choice of expression-based or tabular shapes. Fully integrated 2H and 1H gradient shimming using the shim set or pulsed field gradients is also standard. Because of the ECX’s advanced design, there is absolutely no cable switching required for any kind of experiment.
