JMS-T2000GC AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha Sensitivity in nitrogen carrier gas ② - EI / FI ion source

We have checked the influences of nitrogen carrier gas on JMS-T2000 GC AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha, and report on MSTips No. 374-376. This report shows the results of the EI (Electron Ionization) / FI (Field Ionization)combination ion source, which is one of the characteristic multi-ionization ion sources of JMS-T2000 GC AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha.

Differential analysis of coffee aroma compounds using HS GC-QMS and msFineAnalysis iQ

Coffee aroma contains a very large number of components. Therefore, a large number of peaks are observed in TIC chromatogram, and it takes a long time to identify the components of each peak and to analyze differences between samples. In this report, we present the results of differential and integrated analyses performed on coffee aroma components using msFineAnalysis iQ.

Additive analysis in lubricating oil by FD method using JMS-T2000GC AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha

In MSTips No. 355, the effectiveness of the FD method in additive analysis was shown using an analysis example of bromine flame retardant in polypropylene products. In this report, we introduce an analysis example of molybdenum dithiocarbamate (MoDTC), which is a friction reducing agent for lubricating oil.

Analysis of brominated flame retardants in polypropylene products by FD method using JMS-T2000GC AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha

This report shows the result of analysis for two types of polypropylene (PP) products. The difference between sample was not found by the pyrolysis method, but a brominated flame retardants was found as a difference by the FD method.

Evaluation of Oblique Light-Induced Degradation of Indoor Line Tape by Mass Spectrometry (4)

In this study, it was hypothesized that material degradation under oblique-light conditions would affect the composition and release behavior of outgassed components. Accordingly, differential analysis of outgassed components before and after oblique-light degradation was carried out using thermal desorption–GC/MS.

Evaluation of Oblique Light-Induced Degradation of Indoor Line Tape by Mass Spectrometry

To more comprehensively evaluate the oblique-light degradation characteristics of indoor line tapes, qualitative analysis of outgassed components was performed using thermal desorption–GC/MS. As a result, compounds presumed to originate from migration from the floor surface materials were detected. To ensure the validity of the evaluation results, these migrated components were assessed prior to the oblique-light degradation study, and the findings are presented below.

Analysis of gases generated from all solid-state Li-ion batteries using sulfide-based solid electrolytes

In this paper, we focus on the gases generated during the charging and discharging of all-solid-state batteries and present an example of analysis using a mass spectrometer.

Analysis of calcium oxalate and polystyrene in oxidizing atmosphere using high-resolution TG-TOFMS

We have introduced the oxygen-resistant filament application note for QMS in MSTips No. 320. In this MSTips, we introduce anti-oxygen filament application data for high-resolution TOFMS.
